He was the leader for the Mexicans. At the end of the battle of the Alamo all that hard work paid off. The reason why it paid off is because the won the Alamo. Santa Anna was in the Battle of the Alamo because he was the leader and had to lead the Mexicans in to battle. He fought great in the fight he never gave up and never surrendered to the Anglos. Soon in eighteen seventy six he died but he was a good soldier in the Battle of the Alamo. He will always be remembered to the Mexicans and us.
